i went for badminton match support yesterday! my first and very possibly last.
now i can understand why aly appears to be going for every single match support there is.

because it's simply damn fun! :D

at first we were quite landiao, just cheer abit here and there, but then after that the counsellors made us stand up, then we started to get quite high! especially since the match started to get super exciting!

there were boys and girls match at the same time, singles doubles singles doubles singles.

the girls lost the first single, but no one was really paying attetion (oops!) because the guys first single was damn imba! the captain was playing, and he is super super pro.

then girls double, yun sheng played! (i hope her name is correct :/) and she is also super imba! they own like siao. then the guys won the doubles also.

then the exciting thing start to happen! the guys second singles was the vice capt playing, then even though he is damn pro can tell, but then he made random mistakes like keep hitting into the net. how about i think most of the points the opponent scored is cos he hit into the net? not cos the opponent smash or something. then right! he lost the first round that he landiao! the second round he play like he going to lose like that, no drive! and he shook his head!!! this is the ultimate. i was like, don't shake your head!! don't shake your head!! you can do it!! but then he landiao. so didn't win that round. and i was so indignant! he could have won it! not like he got no skill.
then the girls second singles play for super ultra super long! and eventually won.

then so now both girls and guys just need to win the second doubles to win! and it was super exciting and nerve-wrecking! the guys were like flopping around in the first round, but they got better and better in second and third round, super exciting! then the girls just keep fighting keep fighting.

then. this is the ultimate. ultimate to the ultimate max.
normally badminton match win with 21 points right. i tell you what kind of score they got.
the girls won finally finally, 23-21. (i think. or was it 22-24?)
THEN, the guys ah. after a long nerve-wrecking period of drawing and gaining one point and drawing and losing one point and drawing and drawing and keep drawing, they finally finally finally won with 28-26. 28!!! like first time see badminton match so high points =.= so yes. was quite exciting. we were all screaming like mad when they won. i even felt like crying abit! cos like can totally feel them. after training and training for so long so hard, then finally win.
so yes, double gold! :D

now i wish i had gone for more match supports.
ah, but i forget my terrible timetable.

OH. and i forgot to mention. our opponents were JJC. and they were like enthusiastic in cheering to the max. cannot stop cheering. they were cheering even before we arrived. then cheer non-stop through the match. and they even cheer for the other schools during prize ceremony. i applaud their enthusiasm which i suspect we will never have (their supporters were twice or even thrice ours i suspect) but they super noisy sometimes. like when the guys were fighting the last few points then they keep cheering non-stop while our side people just watch super nervously and silently with bated breath. and we learnt the importance of not saying 'one more!'

oh and i forgot to mention. today was gp ct! dunno if i screwed up.
