in the end, i didn't go back to st nicks today. haha. cos it was like, no one else wanted to go! and my school was the only one that had holiday -.- again.
went out today! (: and i was on time for once! but, both aly and waner fell asleep and were therefore late! and char pangsei-ed as usual! then waner had a fever so she decided to sleep somemore! so i read a book and waited for aly to come. then we went kino and I BOUGHT BREAKING DAWN!!! :D :D :D then erica came. then we went to eat lunch at pasta cafe, which cost us $1_, though we were supposed to be on a less than $10 budget. then we went to pull and bear and waner finally came! and i bought a shirt! again! (i'm a pull and bear fan!) then we went to look at taka cute stationery! but there were no cute files today :| but i bought a new pencil case! though mine is still new. aly bought a same one too! and waner bought a different one. and aly bought a $5+ memo pad! which was...a plain memo pad! (and...it's made in china :/ $5+!?!?) and, i saw jingmin!!! i haven't seen her in...i dunno how long (:
i have spent ALOT today O_O
1. breaking dawn; $36.50 the paperback was only $21+! i spent $15 more getting the hard cover! (i could have... eaten lunch with this money??) but...i guess that's better than crying when i spoil the paperback or getting cramped fingers from holding the book properly. besides, my eclipse is hard cover too -throws tantrum when i see the paperback-
2. lunch at pasta cafe; $16 i could have... bought a shirt with this price??
3. pull and bear shirt; $16.90 i have only worn my first pull and bear shirt once, and the second one thrice, and now i buy a third one -.- and i don't even go out much nowadays.
4. pencil case; $2.50 this is the only thing i think i didn't splurge. cos typical budget for pencilcases is $3. hahaha.
5. dinner; $4 so, why didn't we eat something like this for lunch?
6. turkish ice cream; $2 i was so broke i had to borrow 20 cents from erica!?!?
7. bubble tea; $1.20 my sis asked me to buy for her, so i ended up buying one for myself too -.-
--- you see, though that beautiful flower in the garden across the road has thorns, you know you'll never get hurt by it, cos you'll never get to touch it anyway; you only look at it from afar. as for that flower right in your own garden, you thought it was harmless cos it didn't have thorns, but who knew its smell would intoxicate you so - you can't think rationally anymore.
shattering self-denial doesn't mean you can't still live in disillusionment. it just makes it an even stupider thing to be doing.
and the most stupid thing is not about doing stupid things, it's about knowing something is stupid yet still going ahead with it.
(this past week has been nothing if not confusing :|)
